What is “LUNAcycle”?
Of course it’s a play on the words “recycle” and “LUNA” and it is our new way of repurposing slightly used sandals that were returned or exchanged and are no longer sellable as new.
It’s a most excellent way to get another pair of LUNAs and save big now.
Normally all sales are final but we don’t want to discourage new LUNA wearers, so we will allow returns in the case of wrong size. Returns for "Store Credit" are possible within 30 days of purchase; however, the customer will be responsible for cost of the return shipping label.
Most women are true to size.
With LUNAs, you want a close fit and not a lot of space around your foot.

Wear them. Really wear them.
Take your LUNAs out for 30 days and use them the way you actually will. Trail miles, river crossings, the walk for coffee, a whole day on your feet. Get them dusty, get them wet, put real ground under them. There is no mileage limit and no keep-them-pristine clause.
If they turn out not to be right for you, send them back within 30 days of delivery for a refund, no questions asked, however worn they are. Want to try a different model instead? Return shipping is on us.

Gone through three pairs of these over the past few years, and I absolutely love them. I've worn them on day hikes up to about 12 miles in distance with 5k feet of vertical, along with some light scrambling, and they've worked super well. Only gripe is that I wish the sole were a bit grippier--the cushier rubber is great for absorbing pressure from roots and rocks, but it doesn't seem quite as sticky as Megagrip. Would also love for these to come with a more aggressive tread, like a Oso Grande or something, but I'm just happy they haven't been discontinued!

I ordered the thicker sole thinking it would provide some cushion. It was so stiff and hard it hurt my feet. There could have been a little more webbing because I have a high instep and the velcro bands were too small. Overall not a good experience and I promptly returned them.

Great sandal, grippy top and bottom, comfortable, great for walking on concrete which is why I got them, etc.
The only problem are the laces, which are too flaccid to ever stay up by themselves, requiring the extra "tech strap" to hold the back strap over the heel. The tech strap is really too short for high volume/wide feet, the velcro is 95% exposed as you can only hook a tiny little quarter inch nub on the end to secure it. Even doing so to tighten it up enough to hold the backstrap eventually cuts off circulation in the foot, and it's somewhat uncomfortable even in the first few minutes of wearing. Also, it's very annoying to put on the tech strap every single time I need to just slide into my sandals.
I did try the winged editions first, but they aren't built for wide feet at all, and you end up walking on the hard plastic wings... I wish I could wear the sandal more but right now it's limiting. Even the comfort style laces in other brands will become rigid and stay up themselves once fitted properly, and I'd really like to suggest better laces for a future Luna sandal.
Bottom line, I would buy these again it's a great sandal, but idk, I'd like to see what they do in the future about the laces.
