Leadville Pacer

Size Guide

The Leadville Pacer is among the best selling trail LUNAs!

A light and lean 9mm ultralight minimalist trail sandal that provides the most minimal amount of protection that provides the truest-to-life minimalist trail experience.

It famously uses a Vibram® soling compound that is super lightweight and grippy. It won't last as long as the stiffer Oso soling material, but what it gives up in longevity it makes up in performance. The super flexible Leadville Pacer sole will form to your feet like a glove over a very short period of time. It quickly becomes a trail favorite for its nimbleness and ground feel. Suburb approach and camp sandal.

    Best Hiking and All-Purpose Sandal!

I was once a die-hard Chacos user before finding these sandals. I was in a consignment shop one day and noticed the store-owner's unique-looking footwear. When asked about them, he gave me a review so positive and thorough that I went home and ordered a pair on the spot. I've had these sandals for 4 months and have worn them nearly every day -- Chacos long forgotten. They're minimalist with just enough cushion that you don't feel every pebble, and so lightweight that you can stuff them in your overnight backpack or carryon and not even know they're there. I especially love the padded/rubbery heel feature that prevents blistering with long wear. AND they look great! Despite love at first sight, the real reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because of their performance through the last weekend. I set out on a 30-mile backpacking trip into the Olympics with a pair of hiking boots that were blistering heavily in the first 1/2 mile (thanks, Scarpa), so I pulled out the Luna sandals to give my feet a rest.... and never took them off! Obviously 29.5 miles of hard trail with an overnight backpack and sandals is not something I would casually recommend to anyone, for joint pain alone. But they definitely saved my feet from a terrible blistery booted death. Not a single bit of chafing from the straps. Best part: I could still wear them to yoga on Monday after a quick wash. Thanks, Luna. One suggestion for improvement: foot-to-sandal grip is not great when wet. Anytime I go kayaking, the Chacos still come out. My hope is that, since Luna's a Seattle company, this will be a feature coming soon?

    Love these sandals!

I wear these sandals like a second skin all summer, for yardwork, hiking, walking the dog, etc. They get muddy and I just hose them off and they look good again. The straps hit just right on my feet and required no break in period. (The winged versions of Luna sandals rub a bone on the inner edge of my foot.) I love these sandals.

    Fantastic all around and runners

I wear these things everywhere. I run in them, hike in them, and do pretty much anything. They become a little slippery when wet, so I wouldn't advise trail running on wet trails, etc. Not the best for small gravel.

These are awesome.... my first review of anything, ever

Perfect. I ran the marathon leg of a triathlon in em. It was my 2nd run ever in them and they were everything I wanted. My recovery the next few days was like I had gone for a long walk and I think its because I didn't punish my feet in shoes. So stoked. Thanks.
