WE MADE MORE THAN 200,000 FEET HAPPY. IT IS YOUR TURN!
The Leadville Pacer is among the best selling trail LUNAs!
A light and lean 9mm ultralight minimalist trail sandal that provides the most minimal amount of protection that provides the truest-to-life minimalist trail experience.
It famously uses a Vibram® soling compound that is super lightweight and grippy. It won't last as long as the stiffer Oso soling material, but what it gives up in longevity it makes up in performance. The super flexible Leadville Pacer sole will form to your feet like a glove over a very short period of time. It quickly becomes a trail favorite for its nimbleness and ground feel. Suburb approach and camp sandal.

Cautiously loving my Luna’s!! It’s clear to me that the transition from 0mm drop Altras to my Leadville Pacers is one of “micro-progression”. For the last month and a half I have been easing in to the mileage on road mostly. Was super sore after my first run but it was also a sign of new strength building in my feet, ankles and lower legs that I could feel right away had some positive postural effects too further up body and into my spine. I’m very grateful for this new sensory awareness and strengthening. I just did my first trail run on a new to me trail, on new to me terrain and loved it. I am definitely sore again like after my first run. I have a total of about 30+miles on them so far. I have been swapping out my altras about every other run or so. I figure another 3-6 months and I will be able to open it up on trails and road for 13-30milers. I recommend switching from traditional shoes all around to Lunas or something like them but understand there will be an adjustment period that will likely combat our “instant gratification” culture. Take your time and enjoy the transition!! I am.
These are my first pair of Luna’s and I love them! I went with a thin so it’s still has great grip and I love how light they are, I also went with the original models instead of the wings and they do slip off my heel unless I’m wearing the extra strap. I’ve done some pretty rigorous hiking in them and they have held up to the task — Except! ended up in a big mud bog crossing, and once they got wet and muddy my foot slid around in them quite a bit, almost couldn’t walk until they were dry. Might be a worthy future investigation for Luna to put a little grip on the sole side that faces the foot bottom.
