I’ve occasionally ran in sandals for the last 4 years and while it’s something i love my sandals weren't quite up to the terrain. With many sharp rocks and loose sections I needed something with better traction and protection and the Oso has all of that. I especially love the monkey grip, it’s much batter than the canvas of my previous sandals for 2 reasons. First is that it’s not abrasive, my old sandals would wear the skin out under my toes from time to time. Secondly, it was a disaster once wet, my foot was all over the place, the monkey grip isn’t perfect when wet but it’s definitely better than the canvas. While socks aren’t my favorite they basically eliminate the slipping from sweat but felt very slippery on the canvas. The Oso is also the perfect density, enough to dampen everything but firm enough be very stable on the trail. Megagrip is the gold standard for traction so I have all the confidence in the world with foot placement. My only complaint are the straps. They shift towards my heel on every run. My toes would end up 1.5”s behind the front of the sandal. They’d be fine and then about 2-3 miles in or headed up a hill my foot would just start migrating. I’d have to remove them and completely re adjust everything. I’ve got them adjusted so its minimal now but my old sandals didn’t shift at all. I’d adjust them once and then wear them out. The power straps are also very short, the Velcro barely even reaches but I’m sure I can get some longer ones. I can say that…

Had some problems with the delivery to Denmark and the package got lost (fault by Danish delivery service "Post Nord"). But Luna sandals told me from the beginning I shouldnt worry and no matter what they would make sure my sandals arrived. Luna sandals ended up sending me a new pair which arrived short after.
