Are Approximately 6", too short.
I wrap the laces three times around the ankle, through the forefoot strap, and back to the heel strap, to tie them off for a ever more secure fit.
Replacement laces were approximately 6 inches too short, to pick up and tie off at the heel strap.
I remember when I bought these Huaraches, two pai about 5-6-7, years ago, from Pedestrian Shops, Denver Colorado.. the straps were long enough to utilize the above mentioned tying method, that I had to cut off a few inches.
I utilize my Huaraches, for road running, trail running and every day wear. When the original laces eventually wore out, I made my own out of leather.
But was looking forward the new laces from Luna.
Other than being Too Short for my Tying Method. Pretty happy with the quality....

I custom built a sandal with the leather laces and the monkey grip sole b/c I wanted a certain dressier everyday look of leather but also wanted the performance of the technical sole. I am pleased with the final product. I wore my sandals with a maxidress for a more dressy occasion. Now I will put them to the test in a hiking use case. These sandals are great because they will serve so many uses. I only need 1 shoe when I travel now. Look forward to when they will soften up and mold to my feet a bit more. thanks Luna!
