Briefly tell us about yourself:
I’m a Runfarian...a simple man who seeks realization through long distance running, an active lifestyle, meditation, and receiving earthy messages through my unshod soles, a true soul Brother. I also enjoy the creative process of making clothing for Runner’s High Tie Dye!
What are some accomplishments you're most proud of?
Receiving the Jean Stephens Award from the University of Cincinnati, finishing the Leadville Trail 100 Run in a pair of LUNA Leadvilles, qualifying for the Boston Marathon barefoot, and completing a transcontinental crossing of the United States of America in 2 1/2 pairs of LUNA Monos are all happy thoughts that keep me going.
What are your goals for the year?
Progress mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually while uniting peoples of all walks of life through the benefits of movement.
What is your race/event schedule for the year/season?
2016 Badwater 135 Ultramarathon
What's your favorite LUNA model and why?
My favorite LUNA model is the Oso. I come from a barefoot background, so I find tremendous joy in the landing experience of the Oso’s durable outsole. For an additive bonus, the Oso also showcases serious Vibram tread which allows me to feel locked in on the gnarliest of terrain. Whether i’m ascending talus fields, skirting through boulders, or catapulting off of roots, the Oso is a sure shot that each outing will be an epic experience.
