So far, so good! They have already molded to my foot shape. I was able to add an extra knot that keeps the leather strap from dragging on the floor. Very easy to slip on and tighten before walking out the door. The perfect elegant companion to my earthrunners. They share the same tanline, too!

Rooted Mono : The minimal and robustious

Can’t wait to put my second pair of Rooted Mono in action as I’m retiring the first pair (2656km is already on its odometer and am still rocking it). In fact this’ll be my 7th pair of LUNA Sandals since 2019. Among them I love Rooted Monos the most. I am not a fan of winged editions. Instead I prefer the more minimal and robust ones like Mono 2.0, Retro Mono and the best Rooted Mono. The simplicity of Rooted Monos gives you 100% freedom to use your feet. Yet its robustious gives you confidence to go far, really far (The longest run I did in them was 122km, I also did a 181km run in a Retro Mono Gordo). Surely they are the best companions for ultra minimalists who dare to go for the distance.

They are really cute sandals and I love wearing them. You can wear them with any summer fit causal to classy while being extremely comfortable!

I love them and am braving through breaking them well. (Ouch!) They are lovely.

My favorite shoe. My only advice is to YouTube some tying techniques to make sure you’re doing it right! I’m so in love with these.
