    Love it!

Bought them in Seattle while visiting family. Loved the shop and the experience there. The sale person was great and very attentive to my needs. I love the fact that I can grip with those sandals on all kind of terrain, even wet rocks! Best of all is that I can actually still feel the ground under foot but save my skin on rugged terrain. I got the tabis as well and it is such a great combo in wet and cold weather or if I just feel like a bit extra protection. I am not looking at anything else for a long time...

    Love them!

Aside from the postal service jacking up my delivery I love my Oso Flacos. Took me a while to get used to the "zero" incline or whatver they call it. I also bought the Origen (2.0) as well shortly after but find taht I go to these for my everyday use. So far I attribute that to the easier break-in since they are considerably thinner and also that I got leather laces for the Origens which are now growing on me but they not as easy to adjust or as comfortable as the Performance Laces..which I would recommend instead of the leather. I tend to wear the Origens only when I want to look a little dapper. I'm a 10.5 normally but in both my Oso Flacos and my Origens I'm feeling I should have definitely opted for a smaller size, perhaps a 10 or a 9.5? Not sure. I will have to size better on the next pair I buy but even still..great f*!n sandals! There's a magic to them I can't quite put my finger on. I've never been this excited about footwear since Magic Johnson came out with his Converse shoe in the 80s. Even some of my friends have made comment about how my energy has positively shifted since I got these sandals. I do a lot of walking and brief jogging (2-3 blocks) so I can't attest to the running experience. There's been once or twice where my feet were sore and I missed my cushy running shoes and I wanted to get out of them but I feel that was more an issue of conditioning my feet back to a more natural state of footwear. The Oso Flaco's tend to get a lot of curious stares as well which is interesting because the Origens are essentially the same design but dont garner the same attention. Maybe it's the low profile / thinness of this model? I dunno...but like I said..great sandal.. my advice: just make sure you size right, opt for performance laces, and make sure that if your're ordering via US Postal Service that they dont mess up your delivery because their system can "auto-correct" your address to a wrong address.

    Good Sandals!

I've been using shoes like these for many years. I used to make my own with materials from this site, but they don't offer that anymore. Decided to try these out, and they are very good. I really like how the bands feel around my feed. I hope they last as long as my homemade ones!
