WE MADE MORE THAN 200,000 FEET HAPPY. IT IS YOUR TURN!
The Leadville Trail is one of the oldest trail worthy LUNAs and is being reintroduced because of ongoing popular demand.
A light and lean 11mm ultralight minimalist trail sandal that provides just the right amount of protection to take the edge off the trail for a true-to-life minimalist trail experience.
It famously uses a Vibram® soling compound that is super lightweight and grippy. It won't last as long as the stiffer Oso sole, but what it gives up in longevity it makes up in performance. The super flexible Leadville Trail sole will form to your feet like a glove over a short period of time. It quickly becomes a favorite for its nimbleness and ground feel.
Your input is very much appreciated. Share it with your friends so they can enjoy it too!
When I got these, I noticed the different lace pattern compared to XeroShoes and EarthRunners. EarthRunners are nice and very minimalistic, and are a close 2nd to Luna. The Leadville Trails from Luna are very comfortable on my achilles and are more grippy for trails. The XeroShoes just didn’t hold up for me and popped out once when running. The Leadvilles can be tricky because sometimes I trip on them when the front bends and my toes catch the ground, but I still love them. They are easy to adjust and stay put on my feet.
So far the Leadville Trail has been great. Took me only a few long runs to break them in. Recently used them in a trail race and was really happy with their performance. I inspected the sole thread afterwards and it looked like it would survive quite a long time compared to the morflex on the Mono 2.0 I own. Overall I am a happy Leadville Trail user, .
