Brujita means "Little Witch" in Spanish. Rooted refers to the traditional leather laces and tying method. Slip-On refers to the style of wear with lace going over top of foot, not around the ankle, making it much easier on-and-off at the expense of a bit more security. These are undeniably good-looking, traditionally styled sandals. The least amount that works the best. Perfect for campus life, travel life, the good life.
Rooted Brujitas are like all other LUNA Roots and Rooted sandals, i.e., they take a little skill to master wearing them; however, it is a surprisingly easy skill to master and it gives you so much more control over the comfort of the sandal on "your" foot. If you follow the "How To Tie LUNA Roots Sandals", you will soon master it for yourself.

I love walking around, running, and foraging in these sandals. I’ve worn them dressed up and down and walked in them up and down mountains :) And I figured out an alternative tie method that keeps them from slipping off/ requires less adjusting as the straps stretch (I even wear them in the water this way)!
These have been a great lifestyle sandal. They definitely look good are as minimalist as they come. That being said - the adjustment is weird. The strap that goes down your foot seems to continuously come loose and the sandal needs readjustment every couple of minutes. I don’t wear them often because of this. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?
I thought I would like how these looked but when I received them and tried them on they were uncomfortable between my toes and I didn’t think they looked that cute on me. I returned them.
I love the style and fit of these shoes, but have had some trouble keeping the laces fastened. If I wear them all day they tend to loosen up and need readjusting. Because of this, I don't wear them as often as my other Lunas.
